How long does it usually take to finish a painting?

The time for a commission to be completed can range from 2 weeks - 1 month (excluding hard copy delivery), depending on the complexity of the artwork, as well as other circumstances that may affect my process (sickness, family matters, unforeseen circumstances, etc…). In such cases, I will personally inform you of the delay.

Where do I get my inspiration from?

The vision I have for each commission is unique and is specially tailored to each subject. It stems from my personal artistic intuition/ feeling I perceive towards each subject. I will try my best to give an explanation of each painting if you’re interested in the artistic meaning behind them. Until then, prepare yourself for a surprise!

How many subjects can I include inside a painting?

You’re welcome to include as many subjects as you’d like in a painting. However, I do advise keeping it simple as the more subjects included, the fewer details the painting will be, the longer it’d take to finish.

What kind of image reference are you looking for? Can I send separate photos of subjects?

Reference photos should be as detailed and as sharp as possible. I would ask you to resend them if the image is too blurry. I’d also recommend sending more than 1 image for a better study of the subject(s).

Yes, you can send separate photos of subjects (eg: a separate image of owner and pet) and I will make sure to position them inside my painting accordingly. Please take note that the photos must be taken from a similar angle/ perspective.

How should I proceed with the payment?

Payment shall be made as follows:

  • 50% as down payment after the 1st draft (line art).

  • Remaining 50% within 7 days upon finalizing the final commission.

I will follow up with the final packaging of the necessary documents indicated in the selected commission via email. For more information on payment mode, packaging and delivery, please read more under terms of service and shipping.
